MONTESSORI FOR DEMENTIA AND AGEING
3-day seminar open to all, followed by the possibility of AMI certification for healthcare professionals
This three-day seminar led by Stéphanie Etievant, trained by Mrs. Anne Kelly (see her biography) (voir sa biographie), will be of interest to anyone who is in contact with the elderly or disabled, professionals or caregivers, who wishes to understand what Montessori pedagogy can do. bring to the elderly or mentally deficient (mainly suffering from Alzheimer's). This seminar is the first step in becoming a certified Montessori AMI Accompanying Person.
Although open to everyone, the certification is primarily intended for professionals working with the elderly. The process lasts 6 months during which practical work is carried out. The objective of the certification is to give the participant the necessary "toolbox" to implement these techniques independently in the establishment in which he / she works.
